Kiera Cass

Kiera Cass is the internationally bestselling author of THE SELECTION series and THE BETROTHED duology. She lives in California with her family. Her last epic YA romance, A THOUSAND HEARTBEATS, debuted on the New York Times bestseller list.


GINA CHEN

Gina Chen is a New York Times bestselling author, software engineer, and occasional artist. She spent most of her life thinking she hated writing, until she churned out a few hundred thousand words of fanfiction and decided that maybe she was a writer. She tells stories about (anti)heroines, the unfortunate creatures who love them, and the kind of cleverness that brings trouble in its wake. She resides in sunny Southern California. Her debut YA fantasy, VIOLET MADE OF THORNS, debuted on the New York Times bestseller list where it had an incredible 5 week run.


Alexa Donne

Alexa Donne is the author of young adult thrillers THE IVIES and the Edgar-Award-nominated PRETTY DEAD QUEENS, both published by Random House Children’s. A graduate of Boston University, she works in TV marketing and has done pro bono college admissions mentoring since 2014. A true INFJ, in her “free” time she mentors with WriteGirl, runs the Author Mentor Match program, and manages one of the most popular writing advice channels on YouTube. She lives in Los Angeles and you can find her in most places @alexadonne.


Vern Kousky

Vern is a children's book author, illustrator, and artist. He’s the author of OTTO THE OWL WHO LOVES POETRY, THE BLUE SONGBIRD, HAROLD LOVES HIS WOOLLY HAT, LAWRENCE, and MILO IS MISSING SOMETHING. His next picture book, I SEE YOU, SAD BEAR, was published in July 2023 by Roaring Brook Press.


Anna Bright

Anna Bright is an indie bookseller by day and an author by night who still gets in trouble for reading when she’s supposed to be doing other things. When not hiding out among books, she loves concerts, roller coasters, and adventures at home and abroad. Anna lives with her husband and cat in a charming cobblestoned neighborhood in Washington, DC. She’s the author of a fairy-tale inspired YA duology, THE BEHOLDER and THE BOUNDLESS. Her astrological YA fantasy THE SONG THAT MOVES THE SUN, was published in June 2022. Her next romantasy, THE HEDGEWITCH OF FOXHALL, will be published in March 2024.


Joshua S. Levy

Joshua S. Levy was born and raised in Florida. After teaching middle school (yes, including seventh grade) for a little while, he went to law school. He lives with his wife and children in New Jersey, where he practices as a lawyer. His first novel, SEVENTH GRADE VS. THE GALAXY, began a sci-fi adventure trilogy that concluded in August 2023. His latest middle-grade novel, THE JAKE SHOW, was published by HarperCollins Children’s in May 2023. Two more Jewish fiction endeavors will follow in 2024: a Passover anthology, ON ALL OTHER NIGHTS, and a new novel, FINN AND EZRA’S BAR MITZVAH TIME LOOP.


Deeba ZargarPur

Deeba is a children’s book editor at S&S BFYR/Salaam Reads, and busy working on many stories of magic and strong Muslim girls of her own. Her debut YA, HOUSE OF YESTERDAY, was published by Farrar Straus & Giroux Young Readers in Fall 2022. Her middle-grade debut, FARRAH NOORZAD AND THE RING OF FATE (Labyrinth Road/RH Kids) will be out in Summer 2024.


Lily Meade

Lily is an author and vlogger living outside of Seattle, Washington. She’s been published by Bustle and Teen Vogue. Her debut novel, THE SHADOW SISTER, a YA supernatural thriller, was published in June 2023.

Victor Pineiro

Victor is an independent content strategist, social media expert and creative director, currently working at HBO Max. He’s a reformed screenwriter and documentary filmmaker, and writes for magazines like Fast Company, Digiday, Ad Age and Vice. His two-book middle grade series, TIME VILLAINS, is available from Sourcebooks Kids.


M.L. Webb

Matt Webb is a designer and illustrator, whose debut picture book THE GAYBCs was published in Fall 2019. An updated board book was released in June 2021.


Shannon Price

Shannon Price is a YA author living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her debut novel A THOUSAND FIRES is a YA reimagining of the Iliad set in modern day San Francisco and was published in November 2019. Her sophomore novel, THE ENDLESS SKIES followed in 2021.


Jennifer Yu

Jennifer Yu is a Boston resident and recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied creative writing. In her free time, she enjoys reading books she’s too old for, playing the guitar and being far too invested in Boston sports teams. She is the author of FOUR WEEKS, FIVE PEOPLE and IMAGINE US HAPPY. Her next YA novel, GRIEF IN THE FOURTH DIMENSION, will be published by Abrams BFYR in Spring 2024.

J. MARCELLE CORRIE

J. Marcelle Corrie is a marketing and publicity professional and a contributor to A PHOENIX FIRST MUST BURN, a YA science-fiction and fantasy anthology published in March 2020. An advocate for underrepresented voices in publishing, she is also a planning committee member of People of Color in Publishing.

Brooke Hecker

Brooke Hecker works in marketing for a television network in New York City. Brooke has two daughters, and she sometimes secretly reads their books after they’ve gone to sleep. Her first book, LETTERS FROM MY TOOTH FAIRY, was published in August 2020, and is based off of the real letters that Brooke’s daughters have received from their actual Tooth Fairies.
