Joshua S. Levy

Joshua S. Levy was born and raised in Florida. After teaching middle school (yes, including seventh grade) for a little while, he went to law school. He lives with his wife and children in New Jersey, where he practices as a lawyer. His first novel, SEVENTH GRADE VS. THE GALAXY, began a sci-fi adventure trilogy that concluded in August 2023. His latest two novels, THE JAKE SHOW and FINN AND EZRA’S BAR MITZVAH TIME LOOP were both Sydney Taylor Honors, with FINN & EZRA also winning the National Jewish Book Award for Middle Grade Literature.

Deeba is a children’s book editor at S&S BFYR/Salaam Reads, and busy working on many stories of magic and strong Muslim girls of her own. Her debut YA, HOUSE OF YESTERDAY, was published by Farrar Straus & Giroux Young Readers in Fall 2022. She is also the author of middle-grade fantasy, FARRAH NOORZAD AND THE RING OF FATE (Labyrinth Road/RH Kids) and its sequel FARRAH NOORZAD AND THE REALM OF NIGHTMARES.

Jennifer Yu is a Boston resident and recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied creative writing. In her free time, she enjoys reading books she’s too old for, playing the guitar and being far too invested in Boston sports teams. She is the author of FOUR WEEKS, FIVE PEOPLE and IMAGINE US HAPPY. Her next YA novel, GRIEF IN THE FOURTH DIMENSION, was published by Amulet/Abrams BFYR in Summer 2024.

J. Marcelle Corrie is a marketing and publicity professional and a contributor to A PHOENIX FIRST MUST BURN, a YA science-fiction and fantasy anthology published in March 2020.
